This policy explains what information PorchPenny ("we," "us") collects when you visit porchpenny.com, sign up for our emails, or buy one of our digital products, and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

The short version

• Our spreadsheets run on your own device or in your own Google account. We never see the budget numbers you enter.
• We don't ask you to link a bank account, and we don't sell your personal information.
• If you join our email list, we use your email address to send what you asked for and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Information we collect

• Email signups. If you request a free download or join our list, we collect your email address (and anything else you choose to enter in the form).
• Purchases. Orders are processed by third-party store and payment platforms (for example, Gumroad or Etsy). They collect your payment details and handle checkout under their own privacy policies. We receive order information such as your name, email address, the product purchased, and the order amount. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and performance. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful.

How we use information

• To deliver products and free downloads you request
• To answer your questions and provide customer support
• To send emails you signed up for (every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link)
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies. Our store, payment, and email providers may set cookies needed for checkout, security, or signup forms when you use their services.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (such as website hosting, store and payment platforms, and our email service), when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Data retention

We keep email list information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep order records as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal requirements.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live (for example, California or other US states with privacy laws), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
